welcome, movers of all backgrounds-from curious beginners to advanced dancers seeking a professional environment.
This class blends strength work and improvisation.
We will move continuously through a guided progression that builds from core activation into full-body grooves, crystalizing into phrase-work traveling across the space engaging both physical and mental awareness.
The Exercises draw from bodyweight training and functional strength, with opportunities to explore coordination, rhythm, and response.
The phrase-work focuses on sensation rather than appearance, encouraging you to explore how your body works and move with clarity and intention without pressure to “look” a certain way.
Expect a supportive, community-oriented environment, energizing music, and a dynamic range of intensity.
You will sweat, move, and be invited to push your physical and creative limits at your own pace.
No prior dance experience is required.
What to expect:
Come ready to move, barefoot or in socks, in clothing you feel comfortable sweating in.
