Interplay between the body, the practice, and the artistic outcome.

My methods are cross-disciplinary anchored in the interplay between the body and the artistic outcome.

I utilize a cycle of grounding, anatomical activation, and improvisational tasks that move into the artifact.

We begin in silence. A meditative grounding phase, before moving into anatomical activation. I utilize guided task based improvisation, signature exercises that layer technical rigidity with creative freedom. The transition towards artifact begins with reconstruction asking collaborators to help build movement phrases. I am interested in transforming the “burden of memory" that coems with phrasework into a shared project. Finally, collaborators use practice material to generate/output permanent tangible work (an artifact) (e.g., charcoal painting, film, photography, a sketchbook, music composition, digital tracing) based on the physical sensations of the practice session.

This inquiry is iterative. Practice requires silence for meditation, voice for active response, and rigorous repetition to refine.

We move, we pause, we document, and we evolve.

A movement practice that acts as an "intelligent engine” for artistic expression, transforming physical sensation into artifacts.

"Where the body meets the work, a practice emerges to transform the artistic experience into something that can never die."

These classes welcome movers and makers of all backgrounds, from curious beginners to advanced dancers seeking a professional environment.

You will sweat, move, and be invited to push your physical and creative limits at your own pace.
